Role title: Regional Manager – North / Key Accounts
Reporting to: Zonal Manager
Location: North India

Role summary
This is a dual commercial leadership role combining regional business management and key account management for North India. The person will be responsible for leading the current sales team in the region, expanding the team in line with growth plans, and directly driving business with major corporate hospital accounts and government institutions.
The role is critical to ALAN’s growth aspirations in North India and will be expected to drive market expansion across existing surgical products, vision systems, and upcoming medical equipment lines.

Key responsibilities
  • Drive overall sales growth for ALAN in North India.
  • Lead, guide, and improve the performance of the current North India sales team.
  • Build and expand the regional team as per business requirements.
  • Develop and execute the regional business plan across key states and cities in North India.
  • Manage key corporate hospital accounts and government accounts directly.
  • Build strong relationships with purchase heads, biomedical teams, surgeons, OT heads, hospital management, and institutional decision-makers.
  • Identify, develop, and close opportunities in both direct sales and tender-based business.
  • Drive new product adoption, including vision systems and other products from ALAN’s growing medical equipment pipeline across different surgical specialities.
  • Improve market coverage, account penetration, pipeline quality, and conversion rates.
  • Work closely with service and management teams to ensure strong customer support and smooth execution.
  • Track sales forecasts, collections, competition, market movements, and account-level opportunities.
  • Ensure disciplined SFDC compliance and review of business performance across team members, territories, and key accounts.
Candidate profile
We are looking for a commercially strong, market-facing professional who can combine team leadership, regional business ownership, and strategic account management.

Ideal candidate should have
  • Over 7 years of experience in medical devices / surgical equipment / hospital capital equipment
  • Strong exposure to North India market
  • Proven track record in handling regional sales responsibility
  • Experience in managing corporate hospital accounts and/or government accounts
  • Ability to lead an existing team and also build a larger team for growth
  • Strong relationships with key hospital stakeholders and institutional buyers
  • Good understanding of hospital selling processes, tender business, and account development
  • Strong ownership, commercial maturity, and execution focus
  • Ability to work in a fast-growing, ambitious business environment
Preferred background
  • Experience in electrosurgery, laparoscopy, OT equipment, endoscopy, vision systems, or related surgical product categories
  • Experience handling both direct and channel-driven business models
  • Prior exposure to launching or scaling new product lines
  • Track record of delivering growth while building teams and market structure
